Hey. This is Character test.
ZonD is a big bird like Droid, Sonia is a girl with a shotgun and Sam is the other robot in the scene. If you refresh after it plays first time, it will play way faster and loop. Animation done end of last year. You need flash to view it. Critiques are welcome. Thanks. I must add that I worked as an animator on this piece: therefore concept, animation, background and weapon modeling and renderings are done by me. Rigs (characters) on the other hand are something I collected over the period of time when I was back in school. So Joe True modeled the big robot called ZonD. Smaller robot and a chick with shotgun were some models that someone found online that were rigged (set up for animation) by Mike Calvan and one Stev Kakinowski. Big Respect to them! And thank you all for DD love! Daily DeviationGiven 2006-07-01Boasting wonderful character designs, smooth animation and an overall exciting scene, ZonD II by =zoomzoom is one piece you should not miss. One thing I'd add, maybe not directly animation related, are some particle effects when they are shooting the big robot (i.e. some bullet traces, sparks falling off places where they hit). The scene looks already very 'dynamic' whithout them but I think they'd add even more action to the whole thing!
