Ok. This is a very short animation just giving u a taste of things to come.... it was in my demo reel, but I just did a different render for fun...
I did modeling and animation while Steven Kalinowski did all the rigging. And let me tell you . I approached more then one rigger with this model and he was the only one who could do the job. I would never be able to do it myself.
Its still in progress because all the wires are not connected and as soon as that is finished I will start making small animations featuring different moves and actions by this robot... and of cause the big plan is to have him fight ED-209 whom I also have modeled and most likely will be rigging next.
And Music is by Phil Daub
p.s. for devart stuff only: I have full rights to re-create and demonstrate this model given to me by the original creators of the film and music was done by Phil Daub who gave his Permission as well. peace out!
@00:16Come to think of it, the odds are heavily stacked against poor ED. Cain has mobility, brains (literally) and close-combat abilities, while ED is poorly programmed, his admittedly hefty arsenal is easily matched by Cain, he has that silly radiator grill at the very front ('Shoot me here', AND he can't even negotiate a flight of stairs, while Cain can pretty much GALLOP up a lift shaft.
Things aren't looking too good. Though I always did love underdogs... XD
